
The Gower Branch Canal
The Gower Branch Canal is a half-mile canal at Tividale in England, Built under the Birmingham Canal Act of 1768 but completed in 1836, linking Albion Junction on the Birmingham Level of the Birmingham Canal Navigations, and Bradeshall Junction on the BCN's older Wolverhampton level, via three locks, the Brades Locks, at the Southern, Bradeshall end. It has a towpath on its eastern side and is crossed by only one road, the A457, just north of the middle lock..
Cyclists are welcome to use the canal but must get a permit from waterscape.com.
Fishing
Fishing is allowed on the gower branch canal, there is a day ticket fee and we also offer yearly tickets, with a good head of fish from gudgeon to carp, "one a chuck" fishing can be had on a good day. Anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence.

GROUND BAIT IN MODERATION,
NO BLOODWORM OR JOKER
NO NIGHT FISHING,
NO FISHING FROM FAR BANK OPPOSITE TOWPATH,
NO LITTER,
NO REMOVAL OF FISH,
DO NOT DISTURB PEOPLE WHO ARE FISHING,
NO FISHING IN THE VACINITY OF THE POWER CABLES,
I must stress that the rules must be adhered to, anyone found to be breaking the rules will be asked to leave.
Occasionally there will be matches held on this water, please do not try to fish whilst the match is in progress.

Please be respectful to the wildlife, anyone found being cruel to the animals that can be found on and around the canal will be reported to the RSPCA.
Anybody who is aggressive towards the bailif or any representative of the Gower Branch Fishery will be reported to the police, abuse and violence will not be tolerated in any shape or form.
